Greetings Everyone!

The Greater Waterbury Youth Symphony will be fundraising, with a Book Fair at Barnes & Noble in Waterbury, on Saturday, December 4th, 2010.

The Book Fair begins at 9:00am and continues all day long! You will be able to make your purchase from the Bookstore and the Cafe until 10:00pm with proceeds going to The Greater Waterbury Youth Symphony. So. save your holiday, birthday, special occasion or a treat for yourself shopping for December 4th!

December 4th is also Educator Appreciation Day so tell your teachers and home school friends that they can save 20% on purchases and support GWYS all at the same time!

The Barnes & Noble Cafe is a great place to have lunch or a special warm treat! Also included in GWYS’s fundraising event is the purchase or pre-purchase of a whole Cheesecake or Carrot Cake from the Cheesecake Factory. Cheesecake flavors are Traditional, Godiva and Pumpkin. If you are looking for a healthier treat try the Carrot Cake with the cream cheese frosting and zero trans fat! That’s the Nutritionist’s pick!

You can purchase a cake that day or pre-purchase as a hostess gift, holiday party or just to indulge! You can pre-purchase and pick up at your convenience.

After you have made your Barnes & Noble purchase stop by the Gift Wrap table and have one of The Greater Waterbury Youth Symphony members wrap your gift! The GWYS will be wrapping packages from 9:00am – 1:00pm. This service is free but ALL donations will benefit GWYS!

GWYS will be performing, offering story time and an instrument petting zoo, at Barnes & Noble, that day as well.

Last but not least....spread the word! Invite your friends and family to help support GWYS on December 4th. If someone does not have a GWYS coupon just have them mention GWYS upon check-out and credit will be given to the GWYS account!
